Today’s outfit includes two things I love: cheetah print and street style fashion. Cheetah print is kind of my go-to everyday print. It’s both sassy and sophisticated, two things I love in fashion! This long sleeve shirt pairs it with a cool color scheme nicely, providing a nice street style base to my look.
Since it’s still pretty chilly here in Minnesota, I crafted this look with layers to make up for the cold. Here, I’m pairing my cheetah print shirt with a cool utility vest. This vest not only provides a nice layer to my look, but also gives an edgy vibe. Sometimes I wish this vest were just a bit longer and looser, but here, I think the smaller style works.
If you haven’t noticed my hat by now, I’m pretty surprised! I call this hat my rainbow fish hat, because it reminds me of that children’s story “The Rainbow Fish.” This hat is seriously my favorite winter accessory ever. I found it on clearance at H&M quite a while ago, and it’s always a great conversion starter! Once, I literally had a barista at Dunn Brothers grab it out of my purse because she noticed its reflection. Instant new friend!
Mid-rise jeans and my Chelsea-style rain boots are comfy additions to this outfit. Personally, I love these mid-rise jeans because they allow for a cute half-tuck on my shirt; however, if you’re more of a high-waisted jeans kind of person, feel free to customize this look with that style! This look can be recreated in your own closet with various customizations, making it a great go-to outfit for cooler spring days.
How do you accommodate for cooler weather at the beginning of spring? Share with me your recreations of this look, beauties! I would love to see the inspiration you’re taking from my cheetah print and utility vest outfit.
P.S. I apologize for the lack of variety in photos today. My computer had a MAJOR glitch and wouldn’t let me use any of the other photos I took with this outfit 🙁 Major bummer.
