Hey, beauties!

I am SO EXCITED! It’s finally spring! I think I might have willed the spring weather to arrive. It has been so nice outside lately, and I’ve finally been able to wear my favorite dresses! This striped dress is no exception, either: Look how pretty it is! This dress totally plays into my personal style aesthetic of pretty street style. I just love it!

This dress is one of my best budget finds. I found it on sale at Marshall’s for something like $10 last summer. I was struck by its fashion-forward stripes and bodycon-type cut. Here, I’ve styled my favorite dress for a casual weekend afternoon. Springtime comes with more sun and warmer weather, but living in Minnesota means there’s always a bit of a breeze. I’ve added a casual acid-wash denim bomber jacket to this look for some weather-appropriate layers. I think this acid-wash material looks so cool with the striped material of the dress.

Beauties, I was totally going to wear some cute studded booties with this look, but the spring weather convinced me to go with my favorite sandals instead. I couldn’t stand the thought of not wearing these sandals, and they actually give my look a more casual, lived-in feel. Plus, the combination of sandals with a pretty dress is one I will never get tired of! Additionally, I’ve been really missing the ability to wear my favorite casual wardrobe staples (now that I have a full-time job), so it’s nice to craft a pretty, casual outfit for my weekend plans.
